Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GoBikeFit ("App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the App. We built GoBikeFit to work almost entirely on your device, so there is very little for us to collect in the first place.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

1.1 Photos. To analyze your bike fit, GoBikeFit captures photos of you on your bike and runs pose detection directly on your device. These photos, and the body pose data extracted from them, are never uploaded to us or any third-party server. They are stored only in the App's local storage on your device and are not accessible to us.

1.2 Fit history. Your saved fit results and measurements are stored locally on your device only. We do not have a server, so we do not receive, store, or have access to this data.

2. Information Collected by Third Parties We Use

2.1 Purchases. Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and managed using RevenueCat, a subscription management service. When you make a purchase, Apple and RevenueCat process billing information (such as your purchase history and device/account identifiers) to manage your entitlement to Pro features. We receive only the minimum information needed to know whether you have an active subscription (e.g., entitlement status, plan type, renewal date) — we do not receive your payment card details. See Apple's and RevenueCat's own privacy policies for details on how they handle this data:

2.2 We do not currently use any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs in the App. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy before doing so.

3. Data Stored On Your Device

Aside from purchase/subscription status noted above, all app data — your photos, pose analysis results, and fit history — lives in local storage on your device and is deleted if you delete the App. We have no mechanism to access, back up, or recover this data.

4. Children's Privacy

GoBikeFit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

5. Data Retention

Since we do not collect or store your photos or fit data ourselves, we have no retention period for it — retention is entirely controlled by you, on your device. Subscription status information is retained by RevenueCat/Apple in accordance with their own policies.

6. Your Choices

You can delete all locally stored data at any time by deleting the App from your device. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings, and can request restoration of a prior purchase using the "Restore Purchases" option in the App.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
